The rescue of Ingrid Betancourt and the subsequent showbiz that followed is turning out to be a soap opera. This is actually a soap opera now. The dramatic rescue and the following events. This one had to head to the big screen.

The Ingrid Betancourt has got all the ingredients to make a blockbuster of a movie. I can only hope that the directors does justice to the real story without exaggerating the storyline and the operation itself or botching it up with bad direction and acting.
